From August through October, the Bollenstreek is all about the Dahlia Festival. One of the activities is the annual Dahlia Mosaics Weekend. In 2026, work on the mosaics starts on Friday 29 August. On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August the flower artworks can be admired. Be sure to also visit the stunning Dahlia show at Kasteel Keukenhof.

Dahlia Mosaics Weekend

The Dahlia Mosaics Weekend is one of the highlights of the Dahlia Festival in the Bollenstreek. During this weekend, around 115 artworks made of dahlia flowers are on display across the Bollenstreek. These artworks can be visited free of charge. There is a cycling route along the flower mosaics. The map below shows all the dahlia mosaics and (flower) attractions.

Dahlia Days Programme

• 27 August: Flowers are collected and
• 27 & 28 August: creating the mosaics
• 29 August: All mosaics are on display, judging takes place. Start of the various cycling and walking routes along the mosaics.
• The Dahlia Mosaics Competition award ceremony will take place on Saturday 29 August at 5.30pm at Landgoed Kasteel Keukenhof in Lisse
• 29 & 30 August: cycling and walking routes along the mosaics
