Beach pavilion “Het Wantveld” – nowadays presented as Beachclub Wantveld, brasserie by the sea – sits on the northernmost stretch of beach in Katwijk aan Zee. Chef Gerben Dofferhoff and his team prepare fresh dishes in the open kitchen for the restaurant and terrace, with a view of the setting sun. Wantveld is also a popular venue for parties, corporate events and weddings.
From March through October, Wantveld is open on the beach for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a drink on the terrace. Alongside the brasserie, Wantveld offers its own beach service with sunbeds and a sun terrace, plus the “Logeren aan Zee” Beach Bungalows for those who want to stay overnight on the beach.
