Breakers Beach House is the beach club of the renowned Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk aan Zee. Take some extra time for yourself, whether alone or together with family and friends, and enjoy drinks with a wide selection of bites and accompanying wines while overlooking the North Sea.
There’s something for everyone. The terraces of Breakers Beach also stay open in autumn and winter whenever the weather allows!
Besides the activities at Breakers, there’s plenty to do within Hotel Huis ter Duin and its other restaurants. Not only on the culinary side, but also through various overnight packages and relaxation at MC Wellness. In short, reason enough for a weekend away, alone or with the family.
Opening Hours Breakers Beach House
Breakers Beach House is open all year round:
- Open daily from 12:00 to 22:00
- The kitchen serves bites only between 16:00 and 18:00; on Sundays the kitchen stays open later in the afternoon for the Sunday Early Dinner.
Daily Beach Bed Rental
Underneath Breakers Beach House you’ll find Bell’Agio, the atmospheric beach bar where, from mid-April to mid-September, you can enjoy comfortable beach beds with a soft mattress. On request, we’ll add a windscreen and parasol to your sunbed.

Parking at Breakers Beach House
For safety reasons, parking directly at Breakers Beach House is not possible. You can park your car on the parking deck or in the car park of Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, at a rate of €4.00 per hour. If you use the hotel’s facilities (which also include Breakers Beach House), you get a 50% discount on this parking rate. The parking deck also has 20 charging points for electric cars, at €0.52 per kWh. If you have difficulty walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service from the hotel to Breakers Beach House and back.
Dogs and Dress Code
Your dog is welcome at Breakers Beach House from 1 September through 31 May; a fee of €9.50 per dog applies. In the summer months a beach casual dress code applies (swimwear and bare torsos are not permitted), while in the winter months the dress code is casual.

A set with two beach beds, a windscreen and parasol can be rented at Bell’Agio underneath Breakers Beach House for €50 per day. An extra beach bed costs €17.50 and an extra towel €10. The beach beds are available for rent from mid-April to mid-September.
