DESCRIPTION:Every second Saturday in August\, it is traditionally time for the summer flower parade in the Bollenstreek: The Flower Parade Rijnsburg. This splendid flower festival can be seen in the seaside resorts of Katwijk and Noordwijk\, among others. In addition\, the themes on the floats are supported and depicted by more than 100 extras. Every year\, this special flower parade attracts more than 350\,000 visitors. This event is also successfully broadcast on national TV (Omroep MAX) every year. Flower Parade Rijnsburg distinguishes itself from other flower parades by using hundreds of different types of flowers\, which are arranged by professional arrangers. The first flower parade in Rijnsburg took place in 1946. This makes the parade one of the oldest in the Netherlands. \n\n\n\nTheme and designs Praalwagens 2025\n\n\n\nThe theme of the summer Flower Parade is ‘Once upon a time…‘. This Theme is reflected in the designs of the Flower Parade’s floats. Below are the 10 designs of the 2024 floats. We expect the designs for the 2025 edition in July 2025. \n\n\n\n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n                \n                \n            \n            \n             \n        \n\n\nProgramme Summer flower parade\n\n\n\nOn Friday afternoon 08 August\, you can visit the free-to-attend Flower Parade Show at Flower Auction Royal FloraHolland in Rijnsburg. Starting this year\, the show opens at 4pm. An atmospheric afternoon and evening with music and lots of flowers. Here you can watch and photograph all the cars at your leisure. There are extra activities especially for the children between 16.00 and 18.30.  \n\n\n\nOn Sunday 10 August\, the floats can be admired all day on the Kon. Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk. \n\n\n\nThe overall programme is as follows: \n\n\n\n\nFriday 08 August: in Flower Auction Royal FloraHolland Rijnsburg the ´Flower Parade Show´(from 16.00 hrs)\n\n\n\nSaturday 09 August: the parade will pass through Rijnsburg\, Katwijk and Noordwijk from 1pm onwards\n\n\n\nSunday 10 August: the floats stand on the Kon. Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk \n\n\n\n\nThe 2025 Flower Parade programme booklet is not yet available. We expect to post it on this website in early August. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe route of the Summer Floral Parade\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, the Summer Floral Parade will drive from Rijnsburg to Katwijk and then on to Noordwijk. The route follows the roads below. SUMMARY:Blooming Festival Noordwijk
DESCRIPTION:On August 11\, the Blooming Festival takes place on the Oranje Promenade (this square is on the K.W. Boulevard) in Noordwijk aan Zee. This Blooming Festival takes place simultaneously with the Flower Parade. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Flower Parade Rijnsburg runs every year on the 2nd Saturday in August and is composed of 12 floats and more than 50 other elements such as passenger cars\, carriages\, music corps etc. On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August 2019 these fantastic floats will be exhibited at the KW Boulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee. \n\n\n\nDuring the Blooming Festival there will be approximately 100 stalls on the Oranje Promenade. \n\n\n\nSunday\, August 11\, 2019; times are from 12:00 to 19:00. \n\n\n\nExhibitors with lifestyle products\, handmade items of various materials\, flowers\, plants\, artisan products\, clothing\, jewelry etc. will make their appearance. \n\n\n\nThe K.W. Boulevard is completely closed for this.\nFree entrance!
